Additional background info: As an extension of its commitment to women’s professional advancement, in 2017 WJA established a working group dedicated to the research and development of advocacy-related programming: The WJA Gender Equality Project. Aiming to improve the jewelry and watch industries broadly, the project will implement a strategic plan that provides education, tools, programs, outreach and events for an inclusive audience; designed to reach men and women in every jewelry trade sector.

This session was developed as part of the Project and is being presented in partnership with the JVC and with the support of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
