Joel J. Greenwald, Esq.

Joel Greenwald is the Founder and Managing Partner of Greenwald Doherty LLP, a national management side employment law firm.  As a seasoned employment litigator, his clients benefit from his experience appearing in state and federal courts, and before mediators, arbitrators, and agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, and the U.S. Department of Labor.  He also represents management in the arbitration of grievances and challenges to union organizing campaigns.  He has also served as a labor and employment arbitrator.

One of Joel’s chief concepts for his boutique law firm has been to assist employers in avoiding litigation altogether, by providing consulting services that equip management with the tools needed to assure compliance with all relevant federal, state and local workplace regulations. Accordingly, he has developed an innovative variety of legal services and trainings for human resources departments that include assistance with the creation of corrective business practices and documentation. He has also conducted many in-house, interactive training seminars concerning a variety of legal issues relating to the workplace.

Joel is an international speaker, lecturing frequently before a variety of business groups and industry organizations on a wide range of employment law topics. He has also authored and contributed to various trade publications and business journals, and is frequently called upon to provide commentary to national newspapers, television and radio on the legal aspects of news-worthy labor and employment issues.

Joel graduated from Duke University School of Law, earned his B.A. at Johns Hopkins University, and studied at the London School of Economics.  He has consistently received an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell and has been listed by New York Super Lawyers every year since 2014.

Jessica Shpall Rosen is a Partner at the business employment law firm, Greenwald Doherty LLP, where she brings her passion for business to her work counseling companies on a range of employment and personnel management issues, in addition to her litigation practice. Licensed in New York, New Jersey and California, Jessica works with clients in a variety of industries, including healthcare, fashion, retail, entertainment, financial services, professional services, insurance, and nonprofit organizations.

Jessica is a published writer and speaker on a wide range of employment law topics and has been named a New York Super Lawyer by her peers.  She also provides management training on a variety of employment-related subjects, including the management of remote workers. As a former Spanish translator and interpreter, she uses her language skills to conduct interviews and trainings in Spanish.  She also hosts the podcast, “More Than A Fallback” (launching in March 2021) where she interviews entrepreneurs on how they discovered their superpower and use it in business.

Jessica graduated from Loyola Law School at Loyola Marymount University and earned his B.A. at UC San Diego.
