Kelly Hardy
Kelly Hardy is skilled at recognizing and explaining differences between legal frameworks and helping clients manage their global legal needs. She has represented consumer clients on transactional, market entry and compliance matters throughout the world. She also heads the firm’s global Consumer sector.
A fluent Spanish and English speaker, with a particular focus on cross-border transactions, Kelly regularly advises clients on expansion into new markets, as well as non-U.S. clients on foreign direct investments into the United States. She also assists multinational clients with respect to corporate compliance and foreign subsidiary management. Kelly has over 20 years’ experience advising U.S. and global clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, restructurings, post-merger integrations, corporate governance, and compliance in established and emerging markets throughout the world.
Kelly is a Director World Trade Center Institute and has been a visiting lecturer at several law schools in Mexico City. Kelly received the Leadership in Law award from The Daily Record, has been named one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women, honored as an Acritas Star, and ranked by Chambers USA and Legal 500.
Liam Naidoo
Liam is a partner in Hogan Lovells’ Investigations, White Collar and Fraud practice focusing on, fraud, bribery and corruption and human rights. Liam’s practice particularly focuses on the management of internal investigations following allegations of corrupt and fraudulent activity of employees, agents and other third parties and related litigation.
Liam has significant experience in handling internal investigations for companies and regularly advises them in relation to anti-corruption and human rights compliance. In addition Liam has significant experience in Commercial Court litigation arising out of bribery and fraud. Liam is global Deputy Practice Area Leader for Investigations White Collar and Fraud at Hogan Lovells.
Christian Ritz
Christian Ritz handles complex antitrust and competition law matters, multi-jurisdictional authority investigations as well as internal investigations and compliance issues. In particular, Christian’s practice focuses on representing his clients in dawn raids and providing them with strategic guidance and legal advice in multi-jurisdictional cartel and white-collar investigations, including complex internal investigations. Christian represents his clients in cartel damages litigation and regularly advises them on the development and implementation of global compliance systems.
A specific focus of his practice is on ESG related topics both in the field of competition law (“Green Competition”) and compliance (“ESG Compliance”). Christian regularly advises his clients on the development, structure and implementation of their compliance management systems to comply with global requirements in the areas of ESG and Supply Chain Due Diligence, in particular regarding the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (SCDDA) and the EU Commission’s proposal for the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD).
